Picktwire Players Perform “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”
The Picketwire Center for Performing and Visual Arts has opened its box office for the fall production, “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”. Performance dates for “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” are October 27th, 28th and 29th at 7:30 pm and October 30th at 2:30 pm.
Picketwire is proud to present an original adaptation of Washington Irving’s classic American ghost story “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”. Adapted for the state and directed by Ashley Jo Owen-Kelley. The story follows an itinerant school master, by the name of Ichabod Crane, as he is assigned to teach the schoolchildren of a small village in upstate New England. Upon his arrive to the village of Sleepy Hollow, Ichabod hears many colorful tales about the spirits who roam the local woods. He is initially skeptical of these claims, but as the story wears on, he may be forced to change his mind.
