Coming Home Musical Concert – September 12th

“The thrill of coming home has never changed.”     Guy Pearce

Picketwire Players are pleased to present Coming Home ~ a musical concert on September 12th at 7:00 PM at the Picketwire Center for Performing and Visual Arts. With all the high school reunions planned that weekend and many families coming home to celebrate the history of the Arkansas Valley during Early Settlers’ Day, we thought Coming Home was a perfect theme for our fall concert.

In lovely song and story, this concert will invoke all those wonderful sentiments we have about coming home, being home, remembering your childhood and that feeling of belonging on our land. To perform for you will be many of Picketwire’s best voices, including Joe Trainor who will reprise Bring Him Home from the summer musical “Les Miserables”. Two of Picketwire’s favorite leading ladies of the theatre, Kelly Jo Smith and Jeannie Larsen, will weave fun stories in between the songs with their narration.

For down home entertainment and to kick off the Early Settlers’ Day weekend, join us for our concert Friday, September 12th. The show begins at 7:00 PM, box office opens at 5:00 PM. Tickets are $12.
