January at Picketwire

Picketwire is busy year round (with the occasional holiday break) making sure that the theatre is in tip top shape for all incoming players and patrons. This year is no different. We are excited to be kicking off our 51st year with the ever anticipated Mickie Awards following our Annual Meeting!

Players on the 2018 Mickie Award ballot are representing Picketwire’s 50th year as an organization. It consists of several talented actors and actresses that call Picketwire a home away from home and we hope that they will continue to grow the Picketwire family for years to come.

Social Hour: 6:00 PM in the Lounge

Annual Meeting: 7:00 PM in the Theatre

Mickie Awards begin immediately after the Annual Meeting followed by the announcement of our 2019 Season of Shows!

Ballots are being mailed this week to all Picketwire players and patrons that have been involved in the past 3 years. If you do not receive your ballot by the end of next week (1/11/19) please let us know and we will get one to you right away. Ballots are due back by January 18th!

We want your Vote to count, so we have provided several options to return your ballots (duplicates will be voided):

Mail your completed ballot to PO Box 912, La Junta, CO 81050
Drop it in the Santa mailbox in front of the Picketwire Center for Performing and Visual Arts (802 San Juan Avenue in La Junta) NOTE: No stamp is necessary.
Snap a photo of your completed ballot (both sides) and Email the photo to info@picketwireplayers.org. Please make sure your photo includes the page/ballot number.
