Tam Schlegel said that she wanted to be involved in this production because, “she loves this play,” she felt the most challenging thing about bringing the script to life was, “the music and dancing.”
Judy Hensley wanted to be involved in this production because, “I sang in Ed Stafford‘s OJC production of Oklahoma back in 1990 and wanted to do it again.” She feels that the Surrey is going to surprise people in this show.
Rae Ann Waggoner wanted to be involved in Oklahoma because, “she’s wanted to be involved in Picketwire for a few years now and finally has the time,” She found the biggest challenge in the show was learning the music.
Johnathan Snyder said, “Everyone is going to love this show,” he thinks the singing is going to surprise people the most about this show. He found the biggest challenge about bringing the script to life was dancing.
Zavalia found that the biggest challenge in bringing the script to life was, “learning the Oklahoma accent.” One thing she loves about her character is “that she gets to interact with her friend.”
Lilly Seaba said that she “believes that the vocals are going to surprise people most about this show”, one thing she loves about her character is that she gets to be in a lot of scenes.

Kaydence Salazar, who is not only on stage dancing and singing the production of Oklahoma, was in charge of costumes she said “when she’s not doing Theatre, she loves sewing.”
Maddie Jones, a featured dancer in Oklahoma, said she thinks the audience will be talking about “Gertie’s laugh” in the car as they drive home after this show, she would like to be in a future production.
Heather Pidcock-Reed wanted to be involved in Oklahoma because, “I enjoy being part of the summer musical at Picketwire. I also haven’t done a “classic” musical since My Fair Lady.” Heather not only dazzles on stage, but is also backstage manager.
Liz Leonard wanted to be involved in Oklahoma because, “the music is very well written,” she found that the biggest challenge in taking on the show was, “memorizing harmony.”
Fatimah Mirakhor, another featured dancer in this production, said she thinks that people are going to be surprised about the dream sequence. One thing she loves about her character is “being a lil cowboy.”
Montana Brereton said one thing that is going to surprise people is the amazing voices, her favorite line of dialogue is, “Oh, can I come to? I just love the way you handle horses.”

As the curtains draw to a close on our production of Oklahoma!, we want to take a moment to celebrate the unsung heroes—the remarkable crew behind the scenes.
